Roofing is a robust structure however, using high pressure hoses and abrasives is definitely NOT the answer to the moss. We remove the moss by hand and soft washing before the inhibitor is applied to protect from future moss ingression. Be warned about the jet washers. They will do more harm than good and you could end up with an expensive repair bill.
Driveway Jet Washing
One of our main areas of house external cleaning is jet washing driveways and patio areas. Moss and leaf debris collects in the crevices and moss begins to grow in the moist area where the water cannot run away. We prepare the block paving and then jet wash the driveway or patio whereupon we apply sharp fine grain sand that fills the gaps and makes the whole driveway look new again.
